Having caught up with some sleep, I keep a very quiet day. It's sunny, but with some high level cloud about. Not warm, only 5C. Head out after 3pm for some shopping, which doesn't take long. It's not busy - my usual paper, the Press & Journal, has not materialised on Lewis today. Only the Glasgow Herald and the Guardian featured on the news stands today. A nearly full moon rises above the trees opposite the filling station by 3.30. A French couple knock on the door, looking for accommodation, which mrs B has not got to spare. Supper consisted of a cold buffet of various bits and pieces left over from the Xmas and New Year meals. Another New Year ceilidh lasted until 2.40 am. A great time was had by all.

well all this sounds poetic Guido, and it is nice to hear that Mrs B. has no spare rooms, it means it works well for her.
