Heavy rain and strong winds lash down during the morning and afternoon, leading to the cancellation of the ferry sailings from Ullapool at 10.30 and here at 13.45. The MV Isle of Lewis does return at 8pm. Many other ferries are also off. The Lewis windfarm will be delayed by at least 7 years, due to public inquiries on itself and the two power transmission lines that it requires from Ullapool to Stirling. Today is a lot milder than yesterday, 11C. I finally manage to split the webcam video of the fireworks display into 3 pieces. Dinner is chili con carne.
