Fire prompts evacuation

Again in Shetland, a serious fire at a boat yard in the capital town, Lerwick, has prompted the establishment of a 200 m exclusion zone. The boating and engineering yard, situated at the northern end of Commercial Street, also has oxygen and acetylene cylinders on site, and it's the firebrigade's priority to prevent an explosion.

Lerwick is a small town, the size of Stornoway, with a densely built seafronted centre.
