Big boat!




These are some nocturnal images of the private Yacht KIRING, which is still in port. I am noting it because I just spotted it on AIS, which shows me all ships over 300 tons within 50 miles of Lewis. Just a few bits of information:

Kiring is 34 metres (113 ft) long by 9 m (30 ft) wide by 3 m (10 ft) deep. The craft is 378 tons. I found this website, offering the boat for sale for a bargain $7m. Has got a host of info on it, so here you go.

    Wow, that's a beautiful yacht.  I see it's sold, so now the question is...who had the seven million to pay for it?  Nobody I know, that's for sure. Linda in Washington state
