Sunday evening notes

Looks like Jamaica may dodge the silver bullet of a direct strike by hurricane Dean, but it will be badly affected. The Cayman Islands and Yucatan Peninsula are next in the firing line.

Went out in the cool evening air after dinner (Savoy Cabbage Special) for a walk down to Sandwick Beach, about 15 minutes from here. Visibility is very good - a bad omen. As they say up here: if you can see the mountains, it's going to rain, if you can't see them, it IS raining. Just sharing some of the views.

Meanwhile, I'll see y'all in about half an hour's time.
