Spam by snailmail

So I have this Internet domain registered (that I am not using, for various reasons) with Bravenet. Who'll describe my surprise when I got an unsolicited smailmail from an American firm who offer to take over the registration at about double if not treble the Bravenet fee. It puts two things into the spotlight. Bravenet is selling my address to third parties, which is something I take extremely serious. Of course, you always have to read before you sign. In this case, it was a simple case of shredding the letter. The renewal of the registration is not due until later this year, but I may well let it lapse.
