I think I'll be catching up on alerts tomorrow. Got just over 50 at the moment, so you'll have to bear with me. I'm cudgelling my brain over the issue of Nice Matters awards. I find it extremely difficult to single out any individual - which is not a perfunctory expression of politeness.
With the usual few exceptions (there are no rules without exceptions), I have found this to be a caring and kind community, and to single out a handful of individuals would be an arbitrary exercise which would not do the rest justice. However, I'll try to come up with a selection tomorrow. Bear with me!

Yes, it is hard Guido. But you only have to do a couple, whatever you feel happy with. The maximum is seven. It would be nice if you could come up with another couple of gentleman. How about Sam for one? The idea in passing it on is that, hopefully, everyone will be getting one. It is a nice way of getting to know new journals as well. So do not fret over it please. If you really feel that you cannot choose there is no law saying you have to.
