Excuse me?

Tried to sign into Journals Chat. Am greeted with this very professional message:

Dude!
You totally need to Sign In and join the conversation.

For crying out loud.
Is that the reason why nobody comes there anymore?
Erm, if we don't use it, we'll lose it.

  1. Well, you won't see me and I'm baking cookies so I'll be up and down from the chair, but what the heck ... I'll give it a try.

  4. Dude!!  If I knew you were going to be there I would have visited.  Each time I go there isn't anyone I want to chat with..one night I lucked out and Yasmin was there.  We had a wonderful talk but since then I haven't been so lucky.
Love how you were greeted, I wish I had seen that!

  6. As you all know I don't pop into journals chatrooms as my time just runs away on-line as it is. However, I just clicked on it before only to find the purple screen that some have mentioned is still there.  Perhaps chat has been stopped from lack of use?
Is Dude! a derogatory word?  I have seen it a couple of times now and have wondered.

  8. I've never been in the chat room, but that is so rude! I'll have to check it out one day.

  9. I just can't chat.  It takes too much concentrated energy, in other words exhausting.  So I prefer to delay my responses in E-mails and journal entries.  But I can see why you enjoy it, Guido.  I have read the logs of the journal chats and you are good at it!   For the same reason I don't talk long on my phone.  Gerry
