Went to the village of Borve, 17 miles north of Stornoway, this afternoon to photograph the war memorial there. It was a cold day, with patches of ice here and there. Fortunately, there was little wind. I walked through the village and out to the seashore. I had little time to spare before the bus returned to take me back to town, but did manage to get the pics I wanted.

I see the sheep in Stornoway are 'fluffed up' too Guido. Wonderful 'out and about ' photos. It's so lovely to have a nose around the island with you when the weather is good.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sunset too.

Wonderful pictures ,I loved the bottles in the gate to the pottery ..love Jan xx
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures, they are wonderful as usual and the memorial is beautiful. Chickens look the same in Scotland, my daughter has chickens. The weather looks about the same as here in the pacific northwest today. Joni
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the pictures. Borve Pottery looks like a place I would love to visit.

What a great bundle of pictures, I enjoyed them. I see the sheep have their marking paint on them and the fellow in #22 has a great spot by the river. I had to chuckle at the cows in the Tavern photo - wonder if they come with it! Great shots, thanks for sharing.
