ReplyDeleteGlad you caught the overlook of a rainfall warning and sent word. They may get hundreds of e-mails pointing that out, and notice it themselves, OR just your e-mail and go, dag, how'd that drop off. Better safe than sorry.
I hope they have their hatches battened down. We're now getting some wind out of the south, a sure indication of a change in the weather. I'm heading out to paint the door on my shed. It looks so awful and I want to get it painted before the rains come. Linda in Washington state
ReplyDeleteLet's hope they become aware of this sooner rather than later Guido. Well done you for trying to make them aware of it.
ReplyDeletei wish you every success and I hope they do see it for the sake of those in its way.

I am sure you know the history of "Halsey's Typhoon" that took so many lives in wartime. My sister just read the book by that name and reviewed it on our family site. I had never heard of it before. She was trying to explain the difference between a typhoon and a hurricane. My son Dan said his ship weathered a few bad storms when he was in the navy. Gerry
