High Tide / Low Tide

Below compilation shows pictures from broadly identical locations at 7.30pm last night and at around 3pm this afternoon. High tide last night, and low tide this afternoon. The difference in waterlevel is 5 metres / 17 feet.

  2. Wow what a difference a day(almost) makes
What iI want to know is how did you remember exactly which olaces you shot and where you stood when you took them-what a memory you have....
That is cool-you could ride you car or bike or whatever onto that lump of land then wait for the tide and it would look odd it sitting out there in the middle of the water.....

  4. What a wonderful set of pictures. Thank You.  Just shows how much damage could be done if houses had been built within the high tide line.  Sybil x

  5. Beautiful shots.  I like some of the ones with boats best.  17 feet is significant, IMHO.

  12. I loved your shots. I have to ask the houses around the bay were there is a wall are they safe from the high winter tides. The sea looks so calm just like a mill pond.
