Drive round the West Side

Regular readers of this blog will be familiar with the imagery in the above album, although the weather today made things a bit different. There is a force 6 wind blowing with some rain; a force 8 to 9 gale is expected overnight. We took the guest for a drive to Callanish (famous of the Stones), the Broch at Carloway for a fleeting visit, the Gearrannan Black House Village (closed half an hour early) and the Whalebone Arch at Bragar.

  7. Wonderful views Guido.  I especially loved the ones of the sea and tide coming in at Dalbeg. Fascinating!  What mystery there is in the Standing Stones.
I remember the moonlit pictures you took of here.  (I think it was here anyway.)  I like it more in the daylight.

    Thanks for sharing.
