Very blustery afternoon, which saw us on a visit to Point. The main things we saw were the lighthouse at Tiumpan Head and the beach at Bayble. It was far from beach weather, with a strong southerly wind, although I'm not really complaining about the 13C / 55F. Enjoy the pics - enlarge them to fully appreciate.

I love the pictures. Especially the lighthouse. Did you squish the catepillar? Here when the wind comes from the south, it means the weather is changing. Here where I am this morning (9:50am) it's overcast and not quite 50 degrees yet. Yesterday was supposed to be rainy but I never saw or felt a drop. Linda in Washington state
ReplyDeleteAs usual the pics are astonding. Very interesting area, I love the lighthouse, different from the ones we have around here. It's supposed to be in the low 60's here today, I hope it's a little warmer since it's my son's wedding and it's outdoors.
ReplyDeleteIt's up north about and hour and a half from British Columbia, Mt Vernon. I'll have pics next week. Joni
I tend to gravitate toward graphics/pictures of lighthouses. Every time I see one, my mind starts to play that old hymn, I Thank God for the Lighthouse. Would love to see your wonderful lighthouse made into a graphic by Donna. - Barbara
ReplyDeleteThanks Guido, especially for the lighthouse (pic no 6 WOULD make a good tag LOL)and the furry critter is cute too..hope you didn't squish it!!:-) Shauneen
ReplyDeleteNice to see such a large church in use Guido. I liked the shapes the sand took on after the tide drew back. I was looking for familiar shapes in it. What a good idea to have a picnic table at the lighthouse vantage point too. At least you could duck down out of the wind...Lol! I liked the hairy beastie...I must look it up and see what it will become.
ReplyDeleteAgain...wonderful views.
Thank you.
Jeanie
I think these are my favorite pics so far!! Linda

ReplyDeleteJust beautiful...

I loved the close up of the sands. It looked like a painting.
