Sandwick stroll

Bearing in mind that it was a nice day, I went for a stroll down the shore to Sandwick. I went as far as the graveyard, then turned back. 45 minutes was long enough. It was bright and sunny, not a cloud in the sky. Temperatures a paltry 11C / 52C, but no reason for complaint.

  1. Again, great pictures.  I've noticed there's not may trees where you live.  Unlike here in western Washing they are everywhere. At 1pm we are up to just a little over 60 degrees.  It's sunny now but the news at noon just predicted that rain was coming our way and the snow levels in the mountains is dropping to there could be snow in the mountain passes this weekend.   Linda in Washington state

  2. Just look at how that bird is flying down towards your camera.  Well caught Guido!
And the extension of their wings...wish I could do that with my arms...lol!
Wonderful nature pictures today.  I so love the thistle and the dandelion still looks as though it has the heat of summer in it.  I bet you wished that on your walk today. Those looked lovely blue skies but it did look as though it was cold too.  Its freezing in the Lakes.  We are cooling down fast here.  Our fish are not eating as much.  The top water has been wind chilled and its too cold for them. Soon it will be winter...sigh!
Thanks for the views.  I enjoyed my visit.
