Hurricane update - 1 September

Two systems to watch this morning. Tropical storm Felix is just leaving the Lesser Antilles and will pass the Netherlands Antilles later tonight. By the time it reaches Central America, Felix is expected to be a hurricane. It is following the track of hurricane Dean, only a few hundred miles to the south.

Across in the Pacific, tropical storm Henriette is lashing the coast of Mexico as it winds itself up into a hurricane within 36 hours or so. This system will make for Baja California, although its future path is very uncertain.
