Henriette

For those in New Mexico: the remnant of cyclone Henriette is currently passing to the west of El Paso, Texas and is approaching Albuquerque from the south. Bearing in mind the current northnortheast to northeasterly course, Las Vegas could also get a dousing.

Please monitor NWS output for more detailed warnings.

    I think we got a bit of that weather the past day or so..... decent lightning and rain.  An enjoyable day for me, though....

    My cousin is heading to Vegas this weekend with her three daughters.  I hope they don't get rained on. My cousin's birthday is Monday, so I'm sure they are there to celebrate that. However, I'm sure some reain would be welcome in that U.S. hot spot.   Linda in Washington state
