Late light

Over the next few weeks, I am going to once again display my usual pictures of "how light it still is at such a late hour". The sun set at 9 pm tonight. By late June, this time will be 10.35pm. Here are a few pics.

  6. I remember when I spent a summer in Norway that it never got totally dark. We would have "twilight" around midnight and then it would lighten up again. That was hard for me to get used to....

  7. Hi I remember a few years ago we were on Mainland Orkney for two weeks in June and it was never dark we were out looking for Corncrake after eleven and the locals  play a round of golf at midnight on midsummers day. Love Joan.
