Call for support

Mary [frankandmary] pointed me to a journal, Saturday's Child, written by a lady called Anne. She was forced to have her son involuntarily committed for treatment for manic depression. Please read her journal, take note and offer support.

    Anne is a good friend, and I have been reading her journal for quite a while now.  She painted a very moving picture of what mental illness, manic disorder in particular, can be like, and I wish the best for her son and their family.  She and her husband showed a lot of strength to do what they did.

    If you do not know Anne, mark this one and get to know her.  You will be enriched for the experience.  My heart goes out to her and Doc in this troubled time.
