Went to see this year's islands' art exhibition Grinneas nan Eilean [Beauty of the Isles] at our Arts Centre "An Lanntair" [The Lantern]. Grinneas is a forum for all artists across the Western Isles to showcase their talent and work, and possibly sell something in the process. The exhibition opened last Saturday and will remain available for viewing until January 26th.

Some very nice artwork. I tried my hand at painting (oils) years ago. I ended up with 3 paintings and gave everything away. I just didn't have that "natural talent." LOL
