Did I say the weather is positively horrible today? We're having a diet of heavy showers of rain and, recently, hail. The wind is so strong that the ferry has been cancelled until 5.15pm today, meaning it'll stay put in Ullapool. Other ferries are either cancelled or disrupted. The Disruptions page on the Calmac website is awash with colours this afternoon.

Our weather has cleared up. We have had rain for a couple of days now. It's still cool out....but I can see the sun!
