Walk around town

Awoke to 10 cm of snow on the ground, which of course makes for very pretty pictures. I've put 142 in above album, which show a walk round the harbour from my position to the ferry terminal, South Beach, North Beach to Cromwell Street and into the Castle Grounds as far as Cuddy Point. Took about an hour and a half to walk. The snow was light and fluffy, and there were no major problems with ice or slippiness. Hope you enjoy!

  3. beautiful snow pictures.  They are hinting at snow here, perhaps this evening. The Interstate 90 pass is open once again but will close from time to time for avalanche control.   Linda in Washington state

  12. Guido, your pictures are really lovely! I don't recall seeing that much snow there before. Is this the norm? Have I just missed it?
It looks very cold there. Amidst all of the grey and white you managed to catch a cute colorful bird. Very good shot of him!
    Thanks for sharing them.
